Our Vision

Our vision is for a school which provides equality of opportunity for all in partnership with the whole community, seeking to promote and develop every child's potential to the full in a meaningful and positive way. We strive to ensure that the children in our care are able to make the most of their educational opportunities and experiences with the ultimate aim of preparing them for a confident and responsible adult role in our society. Meeting the moral, spiritual, emotional, intellectual and physical needs of our children, whatever their ability, is our priority. Our school is strongly committed to providing a happy, secure and attractive environment in which all members of our school community - children, staff, parents and governors - work together in an atmosphere of friendship and understanding. Our Aims For the School To provide a stimulating, safe and comfortable working environment for all members of our community i.e. children, parents, all staff and governors. To work as a team to maintain good relationships within and outside school. To provide a thorough, broad-based and challenging curriculum – including the National Curriculum – as appropriate to the needs and abilities of individual children. To maintain a consistent and efficient system for monitoring and recording each child’s progress and attainment. To create an industrious, just and harmonious social environment where the talents of all are recognised, harnessed and developed, and where each is respected for personal qualities regardless of gender, age, race, religion or capability. To value and respect other people’s views, beliefs, cultures and religions, both in school and in the wider community, promoting equality and encouraging all children to become responsible citizens. To enhance communications within the school community in order that everyone within it can appreciate the work of the school and influence its development.
