The pressure was on us to do well as we were reigning champions. We knew if we could win all four of our group games we would be through to the final. We stepped up to our first opponents, St Annes and blew them away with some sharp shooting and close marking. This gave us some confidence for Brington A who we had to face next. The play got stuck in our defensive third but a quick break saw Ben open the scoring and that's how it ended 1:0 - great ! The next two games were against Abbots Ripton and Overhills - some of the were getting nervy now but our play was solid and we thrashed both sides 4:0. We'd made it through !!

With pounding hearts it was time to face Great Gidding in the final. Early on in the match we went 1:0 down but with a great effort by everyone we pulled it round to win 5:1. CHAMPIONS !!
