Brington vs Newton - Monday 29th January. Report By Glenn.
It was a cold Monday, on the 29th January. In the 6th minute Scott scored a great goal after taking it round the keeper. Soon after, Ben M scored to make it 2-0.Scott had a shot but it rolled under the keeper. When one of the Brington players tried to clear it they kicked it into their own net making it 3-0 to Newton. Newton was ahead at half time but 5 minutes after Brington scored. The pressure was getting higher for Newton, but guess what ? Brington scored another goal leaving Callum under pressure. A couple of minutes after these stressful moments, Scott scored another outstnading goal, making it 4-2 to Newton. About 10 minutes after Ben M came out with the last goal of the match. Seconds later, the full time whistle blew and the game ended. Newton won 5-2 and if it weren't for Callum, David, Scott, George, Glenn, Ben M, Ian , Aston and Ben R the game wouldn't have been so succesful. The man of the match was Ian.
